I'm surprised that #CablesOfResistance doesn't have any official announcement channel on the fediverse or via RSS. Updates are delivered via telegram and instagram instead. Believe it or not, there are people who don't have access to either of those big tech platforms.

@jorgeluis@mastodon.pub.solar Yes, also had some chat with people about this yesterday. However, what I also really loved to learn: Events like #CablesOfResistance remind me that most of the people I regularly engage with are reachable online and we met online … but the majority of those affected aren‘t and don‘t engage as much about digital channels as I do. First I was a bit disappointed that little about the conference happens at fediverse, after yesterday meeting fantastic people f2f I feel different.
