@Pixelix Okay....but blocking a whole platform because of some troll instances doesn't sound like a good policy. There have definitely been more Mastodon troll instances than any other platform... Does blocking the whole Mastodon platform over some troll instances make sense?
IMO - better policy would be to use one (or more) of the ban lists to block troll instances rather than blocking a whole platform.

@unattributed I am sorry, I think I didn't explain it correctly. The whole FediSea project is very new and we just blocked the whole Gotosocial software as a development help. Actually now we are using exactly the same solution you proposed, a blocklist for single servers. We just forgot to remove the filter from the search page.
