So they are planning a 62 square mile hyperscale data center in Utah that will consume 9 Giga Watt of electricity.... For comparison: the state of Utah currently uses 4 Giga Watt of power. The City of Saint Paul, 306,000 people, covers an area of 52 square miles. The scale of these data centers is unbelievable. There are enough resources to solve homelessness. We just decided to build dozens of city scale data centers instead. #ai #datacenter #climatecrisis
