@autumn okay so my understanding is, fat redistribution happens fairly slowly normally. takes a long time for the cells to die and get replaced. exercise can make it happen faster, as fat is burned from everywhere at once, and your hormones, among other things, will decide where new fat goes
so weight cycling is of dubious use, but exercise is healthy anyway. I started pretty skinny and I've put on 10kg (putting me at like, a healthy weight for the first time in my life) and it's all gone to my butt and thighs just about.
basically, my advice would be do whatever you were planning to do anyway and it will sort out in the end, especially if what you were planning to do involves exercise

@izzy yeah im currently at 65kg, hovering more to the top end, my plan was to exercise and eat healthier to get it down. thats very good to know that exercise might help. whats weird as well is that its been very easy to lose weight for me, i was dieting before and stopped around the time i started HRT and ive been already losing weight like crazy so ive tried to keep my weight up (via eating unhealthy food 😭) so its good to know i should just start doing what i wanted to do and itll all be fine thanks so much for the advice! ❤️
