@BasicAppleGuy@mastodon.social I noticed that IKEA switched fake computer suppliers last year. They used to have what felt like and looked like actual empty MacBook-style shells with real removable key caps. I’m guessing they got tired of teenagers pulling the keys off, or were worried about little kids choking on loose key caps. Or maybe this new supplier is just cheaper. 🤷♂️
