different countries speaking different languages is still a huge barrier
you have to spend 5 years learning a new language just to speak the bare minimum to do anything

@tthbaltazar @julya @n0toose Well... nah. Or rather: depends. Languages from one group become progressively easier, if you know Dutch and English the Scandinavian languages are no problem (and permutations thereof). Picking up Polish would be way more difficult in that case.
