Yesterday I was in a beergarden for a couple of hours in the early evening. Two food trucks were parked side by side. The Greek food truck had a printed menu displayed on the side of the truck. The Thai street food truck had a big banner with a QR code on it. I sat facing the trucks, and I only saw people order from the Greek food truck. I believe this is because THE GREEK MENU AND PRICES WERE RIGHT THERE. You won&#39;t convince me otherwise.

@shansterable Especially if I'm hungry (and maybe also having consumed beer) I'd rather not have to try and audit a QR code to check it doesn't go to some sketchy place when I just want to get food..

@shansterable Sounds right. Also a QR code doesn't trigger that impulse buy because you've just been reminded of that one time you had a perfect whatever that's on the list.

@shansterable absolutely agree. My partner & I, and also our closest friends, avoid QR code type cafés if we can. Hate those things.
