I need a hand from #sfba #nature #wildlife people.
I’ve had a bit of churned dirt under my bird feeder. Thought nothing of it. I moved the feeder to a new spot less than a week ago.
This morning, I saw the dirt moving. There is clearly something digging underneath. No sign of a burrow entrance and whatever it is, is staying below ground.
I’m inclined to leave it be but I walk around close by and am concerned it may get defensive. Any ideas?
