this isn't about that. it was the excitement of the book fair. it meant you were going to get some cool books and maybe some of those neat science rocks and minerals books that came with actual minerals and stuff. or bug collecting books with bug catching apparati attached. was so cool. it wasn't about overtaking libraries. it was to get kids excited about reading. and it *worked*. it was a nice thing to be excited for.
