If you gen-ai corp datacenters to do anything within a project, it taints the entire project with gen-ai and all the bad that includes.
Focusing on "localizing" gen-ai involved tools is just the gen-ai version of greenwashing. 'localwashing'? 'openwashing'? whatever.
"useful" isn't an excuse.
"Good" ai is ai that isn't tainted with gen-ai.

@kitkat_blue @anildash I mean, by that logic, pretty much everything is tainted. Some of our medical knowledge, for instance, comes from some Pretty Bad Places. I don't like that they used LLMs to build the tools to do the training, but it sounds like the resulting *model* is clean.
