@epilanthanomai It's hair changes that are worst for me. Facial hair changes for men. More often style changes for women (commonly when going to a formal event or, conversely, letting their hair down). Or a character actually wearing a disguise -- totally different character (and actor) to me. Glasses can mess me up, but not usually as badly. Sadly, it's about as hard in real life. I can usually pick up on it when somebody speaks. That's how I recognized Jalan that time as the stranger who'd sat down across from me at an otherwise empty restaurant.
