@randomfelix Notepad++ is an open source project. The developer doesn't use Apple devices, why would they port their software? This not a commercial project where you want to convert new users.
They are not against having a third-party port as long as it respects their trademarks. Immediate report is the legal thing to do. Even if Notepad++ is not a commercial project, it is still trademarked.

@Exagone313 My point was never that the original developer *must* port it. I am only saying that it is completely ridiculous to think that a full project rename is doable in a few seconds without breaking something in the process so it takes a few days. A developer so long developing should know this. As I said, both of them are selling them selves extremely bad in that discussion.
