@MeanwhileinCanada@ohai.social ain’t this the truth! My youngest daughter was shocked to see filled stockings under the tree today. She said “MOM, we’re not supposed to SEE the stockings yet!” She’s 26 - I thought it would be OK😂

@MeanwhileinCanada@ohai.social I've been going non-stop since the week before Thanksgiving. I couldn't do it without the spouse and our eldest watching the baby and doing dishes and laundry, but 95% of holiday prep is entirely me because I'm the only one who knows what needs to be done and--crucially--cares that it gets done. It's exhausting.
