For example a legal mandate from the government that: * businesses/banks can't require email or non-end-to-end encrypted messaging * real 2FA not SMS nonsense * fines they pay, you get, when businesses lose or misuse your data * fair access to government/public services without requiring an app from one of two U.S. companies * minimum data collection required, eg: why DOB? * etc...
