It took me 2 years but I finally finished building my arcade cabinet. I bought pre-cut MDF and painted it and put it together, stuck a 27 inch monitor in there, with an RPi and Mame, then 3D printed plates for the bezel and top attract thingy and yellow screw covers. It’s running really well and the 5 year old is in love with it.

I painted the top half the summer before last, and you can see there’s a definite difference in how much better I am at painting now than I was then

@abban@mastodon.ie That's a fantastic cabinet. What Raspberry Pi are you running in there? I have a handful of Pi 3 and 3Bs, I should find out whether they're enough for a decent arcade experience.
