So. Cloudflare challenges no longer work in Firefox 115 ESR, which is by the way still supported by Mozilla. I'm not sure what's wrong, but just spoofing User-Agent header with newer version doesn't cut it. Their interactive troubleshooting page suggests disabling ResistFingerpring and HTML5 Canvas randomisation โ€” yeah-yeah, "latest SECURITY features" ๐Ÿ˜ Well, I suppose no more garbage web for me ๐Ÿคท There is still a viable migration path to Librewolf. It kinda works and a few versions ago they finally they enabled support for all the advanced features of JPEG XL โ€” one of the main reasons why I use my own build of 115 ESR, patches enabling these advanced features exist for quite some time already, but they can't be applied cleanly to newer Firefox versions. But at this point I simply don't want to switch โ€” I got used to it! I have configured Librewolf to look and feel nearly identical to what I have now, but even the most tiny differences in behaviour annoy me a lot.
