@unknown231 Without custom client or relying on people to correctly set their post language, the only way I see is by using filters. Make it detect the signs of other scripts being used by adding characters. But I'll say it's one tiresome method! Also doesn't work all that good with languages that use latin. Proceed to your Mastodon settings and pick English among languages that you wish to see. Be careful as it will also hide seemingly English but incorrectly marked as foreign posts. (It has a potential to accidentally create an echo chamber.) If you get accustomed to random languages popping up in your feed, there is "Translate" option (ensure your server doesn't exceed quota only so few times). Unfortunately, Mastodont doesn't have a concept of letting people mislabel their posts, so, again, it might not automatically detect language from the post that was marked English (when it's in fact not).
