@low@lgbtqia.space thank you! Okay - here we go: When talking about leftists I specifically talk about my part of leftism in Germany: Antifa groups and Anarchists and since I was part of those groups for over a decade I was part of those problems: 1) We built an intricate net of codes, rules, acronyms, terms (like socialism) and a language since the 80s that everyone in leftist subculture understands, but no one else. And that is a problem if you want to change society. 2) We are an arrogant bunch of pricks, talkalots and not very likeable people to members outside our circles. People often just wait for someone to say something against our intricate rules, language etc. to take the moral high ground and attack those people personally. 3) We lost connection to society and don't want that. What we'd need is a stance of readiness to help other people regardless of their opinion or their behaviour (okay.. let's cut fascists out of that equation), cause that's were we can achieve things, build connections and organize people so they can fight with us for their interests. I am an Anarchist and as such I believe in mutual aid and solidarity. But those need to be more than just words. They need to be practice.
