@benroyce @imanijoy @Mastodon to get the full timeline from mastodon.world, for example, you don't even need an API key. They just allow anyone to pull it from anywhere. You can use 'curl' at the terminal.

@dckim @imanijoy @Mastodon yeah but no one can use it on a large instance. unless you want to watch comments scroll by at light speed. it's not even a performance issue, it's just "no one is going to use this" issue are you ingesting it?
