the live feeds made sense when mastodon.social was smaller
can smaller servers reenable it?

@benroyce @imanijoy @Mastodon I checked this out the other day when I wanted to pull the main feed to graph it. Smaller instances actually still have their main feeds open, and you can still pull them. So, if you were on one of those, you could still get it. You just can't get the one from mastodon.social They basically shut the water off. It's a legal issue, and other instances might end up the same way. It's basically a forced moderation system. They close it when they start getting sued.
