Thanks for the idea!
This looks and feels super clean and stable, So I think we should be fine to play around with this. Now to figure out how to get it to play nicely with its Windows sister-partition, and otherwise Windows-based home network companions! If at all possible.

@McCulloch I'm far from an expert myself but from past tinkering you shouldn't have any trouble reading drives physically attached to the computer. Tying in to a Windows network was still annoying the last time I dabbled with Linux but maybe they've improved that since I last looked into it. Have fun!
