@jamesthomson some of the largest sites think they can absolve themselves of responsibility by outsourcing their (in my opinion) deception to OneTrust - awaiting the litigation

@jamesthomson the dark patterns seem, in my opinion only, deep in OneTrust’s blood, and other offenders of course. One general pattern: the moment you uncheck a box or click customize, suddenly “accept all“ appears, shifts, or enlarges. Generally this kind is behavior leads me to believe those involved do not care about their less technical family members, friends, or neighbors. If they looked at their family trees they would have to circle many ancestors who would be abused by their creations.
