Is there a site somewhere tracking software that's remaining "AI"-free? Be it the original projects sticking to human authorship or forks made to preserve/maintain non-crapified versions? I should have bookmarked those vim preservation forks I saw recently.

  • @swetland@chaos.social what could be interesting is to have a package manager, e.g. npm or pip, with a AI-free option (that could be toggled on by default) that tracks the presence of traces, e.g. MCP configuration, CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, copilot commits and prevent from adding a dependency, ideally proposing an alternative that is AI free based on similar tags.
