Microsoft, Sony, Valve and maybe Nintendo need to lock in and make a way to use game controllers on the Microsoft Windows platform that isn't really shite and messed up. or locked to games published on a single storefront oh my god Valve you are evil

"game developers wanting to add native Steam Controller support must publish on Steam and aren't able to support the controller outside of the Steam build" is almost as bad as "game developers wanting to add native PS4/PS5 controller support must already be publishing games on PS4/PS5". almost
