a decade ago, anything gen z did was attributed to "millenials" because people assumed it meant "born after 2000" instead of 1980-'95. now, anything gen α does is attributed to gen z, because people assume it just means "the youth with their devices and stuff" looking forward to being gen x's replacement in ~30 years, where nothing anyone in my age bracket does is correctly attributed
