Some more lubrication and cleaning... and working, but with one tape casualty. Sorry, Carpenters. I guess whatever will be will be. 😜

And, fully repaired! State of the art 1970's tape technology 😆. The issue appears that 8 track tape itself is not going to have done well over the years, especially the rubber roller and the pads which position the tape in the right place for pickup. Every 8 track here has degraded or missing padding behind the tape. Anyway, that was entertaining. #8track #repair
