Luxury watch collectors have lost the plot so much. Apparently Citizen watches have a mid rep in the watch enthusiast community despite the fact that they make some absolutely amazing, beautiful watches with lots of really impressive tech in them. Why? Because they *also* make some cheaper, great value watches for regular consumers. Are these cheaper watches bad? Not at all, in fact they're fantastic for the price and are often also quite high tech. But apparently the whole brand is less desirable for collectors simply because they ALSO make cheaper watches alongside their luxury offerings.
