2/2 Kids LOVE to learn new words. Depending on their interestes, they start very early to name the exact car brands, and the dinosaur names or pokemon some kids can memorise (and pronounce, and accurately identify) is mind-blowing --- and nobody bats an eye when they do. So why shouldn't the words in a German kid's book be exactly as long as the German word for a thing actually is? We all grow with our challenges.
