@darfplatypus@infosec.exchange I've never had a bad experience with Steam. On the rare occasion we've needed customer support, it's been good. Have been able to easily get refunds on a couple of games. It makes updates so easy. The only thing that annoys me is when games require additional logins like to EA or something. And that's the developers, not Steam. Like if people don't like Steam... build a better platform? Also GOG is pretty decent.
