As a big space nerd, I was feeling a bit bummed out that I can't enjoy the Artemis mission because the US is threatening nuclear genocide on another country, then I remembered the Apollo missions were just a sideshow distraction for war crimes in Vietnam and Cambodia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Menu

Or that the whole US space program was developed as a PR campaign to make building the machine that will kill everyone more palatable for the general public.
