@ItsePerkele @seanking @IzzyOnDroid Google announced that there will be such a thing (except the check mark takes 24 real hours to get checked), I'm just pissed that it's entirely up to their vibes and not legislation. They can unannounce it tomorrow, safe in their duopoly.

@landelare @seanking @IzzyOnDroid Yup. Exactly. We have it now, but they can take it away when ever they want to. And that's not very nice for consumers. If I buy a device, I expect I can use it the way I want to, not having to keep up with the latest tech news about what decisions are made 12 000 kilometers away.
