Calendars are usually 75% or more as soon as 1/1 hits. Nobody buys a calendar in June because if you WANT a calendar, you want one as soon as your old one ends

Who the fuck buys calandars? We get them for free at the Asian Supermarket lmfao. My parents get like at least 5 of those every year lmfao so many calandars that can literally ward off evil spirits (cuz red color all over it, and the big character 福 on it… and also a bunch of new year stuff on it)

Follow up, do people still buy calendars? I was just starting to type “wut. people still buy calendars??” until i saw that. Phones kinda made them obsolete.

Noobs, just buy the calendar after the year it represents is over, simply wait 27 years and voilá, you have a calendar that shows the correct days, days of the week, etc.

Sounds like prorating. They do that with rent. For example, if I move in on the fifteenth, I'll only pay half month's rent that month. But, I have a desktop calendar right now. It's one of those daily tear-away calendars. It has "Far Side" comics, so I see a new comic every day. I don't really have it so that I know that day it is. I like having a paper calendar at my desks. It's just easy to see what day of the week a day is. I'll add stuff like concerts or birthdays so I have passive warning rather than making specific reminder sin my phone calendar.

I think this is a function of them not being as common and maybe even a more on demand kind of thing. Growing up they practically gave them away after christmass. Literally they were given away but even fancy calendars about all sorts of niche hobbies would be like 90% off by mid january.

I only buy calendars as Christmas gifts. I know of a company where you can order custom calendars with your own photos and design and IIRC you can make those start in any month, they can be for any period of 12 consecutive months.

I bought an Animal Crossing calendar for the kitchen. It’s cute. If you’re in the Apple ecosystem, use the digital calendar. If not, use Google’s. Set your yearly stuff like birthdays and anniversaries to repeat. Sync up between your desktop, laptop, phone, watch, whatever. Paper calendars can’t compete. Planner folks have been doing this for decades. Anyone can do it for free now.

Calendars are reusable every like 6 years You should have to pay extra for vintage calendars because it's cool
