i'd guess it's useful to those who accumulate open tabs into the tens or hundreds? i've seen several people who just had loads and loads of open tabs in their browser. can't say i get why when bookmarks are a thing

@mcc @fasterandworse I use it at work. I open groups of tabs related to separate but similar tasks, put them in a group and process them as I'm able to. Don't really use it at home, but I appreciate and like the organization they provide.

Tab groups are odd, but I can see how they fit into some peoples' flows. Meanwhile, Chrome (which I only use under protest at work) just told me with its most recent update that I can now put "multiple pages side-by-side in the same tab". You know, for that classic multi-window feel without ever having to get your operating system involved.
