We got back from Svalbard a few weeks ago. (Where is that? Go to the North of Norway, then fly 1.5hrs further)
It's quite the wilderness . While you'd struggle to go anywhere without a guide, it's wonderful having a small group of you as the only people for many Km in any direction, and a mostly unspoiled land.
It is rather cold, -20 on days, although we reached 2c when we left.
The sun is effectively 24 hours, but there is still a "sunset" in April

Svalbard is sort of Drone friendly. You can't fly in national parks (of which there are many) or near Longyearbyen (the main settlement - close to the airport). But otherwise you can fly on standard EASA rules for Norway (Broad preregistration required with the Norwegian security services) I'll no doubt be able to pull something together on the video side, but I have some stills.
