@CriticalSilence On my weather stations, I can wake up, collect sensors, send over MQTT, and go back to sleep in about 2 seconds. Under solar power, speed is absolutely critical. I use the smaller 14500 LiPo batteries which fit in a standard AA socket, and collect data every 5 minutes. These batteries can run for nearly a week without recharging, so even cloudy days provide enough energy to keep them level.
