found a great #book about 507 mechanical movements published in the 19th century 👌 📖 https://archive.org/details/Mechanical_Movements_507 also a neat site with animations for some of them https://507movements.com/mm_246.html ..remembered the Pantograph we had in school for scaled metal engraving; depending on how one setup the distances of the fixed points and following the grooves of metal letters set in the workbench. #retro
