I thought those were all just reskinned versions of safari on iOS. Or am I wrong?

You're right. The only decent-ish extension I know of is Sink It for Reddit. It's on App Store. The website is still buggy as hell, though...

IDK I don't use Apple products out of principle, but given Apple's history of creating bullshit restrictions for no reason, I wouldn't be surprised.
