@sundogplanets@mastodon.social @simonbp@social.linux.pizza Of course, because the best way to deal with a wide range of numbers is to take the base 10 logarithm then multiply by minus 2.5. "magnitudes per square arcsecond" are an even worse units crime though. Mixing reversed logarithmic units with normal units is just all wrong.
