@db Come to think of it, I might have one closet wired with outlets on its own circuit and put a SOHO rack with a NAS and the network stuff in there, that way I can just reset the rest of the house, or just the network closet, individually...

@db Also surprised that's not A Thing anymore: utility rooms in homes. Like, older SoCal houses (and individual apartments oftentimes) all the utilities come in through one room with the shutoffs, and that's usually the same room as the washer, dryer and water heater, and if it's on the ground level, then it probably has a door that opens into a side yard of some kind. Usually just off the kitchen. Oftentimes where the telco puts the POTS-to-DOCSIS-coax crap if you have home phone still.
