@JoBlakely to clarify, I’m trying to refer to the situations where people will give unclear / vague instruction - but still hold you to achieving precisely what they wanted, or act exasperated when you perform a very literal interpretation, hence they “get what they said”. I know grammatically it’s not quite 100% correct, I was going for the kind of snappy quip format - does that help clear it up?
