Recently we talked about large bust darts. It can be tricky to sew up a large dart without it getting "pointy" in the wrong way. That's why I love princess lines. Basically the pattern is divided along the dart lines and smoothed out, so you get a much softer look. This can be done in knit fabrics, too!
