@Quinn9282 @firestorm @crimethinc @pmpress EDIT: I see this is censorship of Youtube by schools and libraries. Note that library censorship works hand in hand with online age verification to do things like isolating LGBTQ kids. Following ANY link to Google BTW is tor-only for me.

@Quinn9282 @firestorm @crimethinc @pmpress On getting torbrowser up and following the link, I see this mostly affects using 3ed party (e.g school and library) computers. Question is are these going to block Peertube servers entirely down the road? I have basically written off networks controlled by those (such as school administrators in Moms4Liberty country) who support censorship. More and more content will become unavailable on these, I would not be surprised if the worst end up whitelisting a few sites and blocking all others. Short of that, rotating URL's could force these admins to play whack-a-mole. Another strategy is possible if and only if this is turned on and controlled in browser rather than somewhere in the networking stack. This is to encourage the use of portable browsers that can be run from the directory they come in on Windows and Mac (if that's possible on those OS's) without needing root/admin priviliges. This works quite easily on Linux. Worst case, anyone wanting to see content not approved by the New Apostolic Reformation or the Southerm Baptist Convention has to buy or shoplift their own device, then poach cracked wifi.
