@erdstern @bit101 Cheers, that's very kind to drop that link. Much appreciated. Over the years I've dove a fair bit into vision. I am rather red/green deficient. The whole art thing for me made that something I wanted to not use as a barrier. But it's also interesting how the brain then prioritises. Shape/pattern are primary identifiers for me. Texture is next. Size then motion. Colour is dead last and usually only if asked. Night visual acuity is better for us because of the processing and the enhanced contrast. Since men are about 23% on average colourblind, and the traditional code setters. I am most puzzled and frustrated with the fucking colour codes for wiring and electronics. How much hubris did it take for the 2-3/10 men on a standards committee to shut up and not mention they could not tell WTF they were looking at... really pisses me off. =)

    @retech @bit101 Well, in this course, it turns out there’s pretty much no parameter we could claim to see “correctly”. Not colour, nor distance, nor shape or speed. With experiments like the one above. Really fun 🙂
