@Odaeus I started (re-)reading the whole Discworld series (in order of publication) last year. I'm about halfway through and this was such a good idea. I had read some when I was younger but I was very depressed at the time and my brain was not functioning properly. Plus I read them in French and now I can read the original text ! It's quite different ! I'm having the greatest time. The reading was prompted by my discovery of The Annotated Files (on L-Space), which was mentioned in a very very long Tumblr post about Vimes/The Watch and the Witches, similarities and differences.
Also I'm now old enough I think, to really get what Sir PTerry was putting in his books. The DEPTH.
A French artist/writer, Jacques Deval, (from whom I have read or seen absolutely nothing) said that "A good book is one which we always find full after emptying it". I think these are truly books you could read and read and read again and every time you'd notice something new, or understand something in a new way. A marvelous gift.

@PeryleneBleu that's nice to hear! It's true, they are very re-readable books as no one else could compress so many references and jokes into the text like him. They are a marvellous gift indeed!
