@decadecity I actually did an LT comparing software to other engineering disciplines and how writing software is more analogous to writing the blueprint, not the construction.
I'm not sure how to fit AI into that model though. Are we giving up the design? Or automating the design? 🤔

@adam @decadecity Modern engineering does use a bunch of automation, constraint solvers, stuff I don’t understand. Often it produces parts that look like no human would ever design. But this is very specialist and focussed ‘AI’. It’s not like going to ChatGPT and saying ‘gies a bridge, lol’.
