@Tho99 @clickhere I think a hundred years of bullying motors have skewed the pitch. Walkers now equate a cycle’s bell to a car's horn, and most drivers use their car's horn as ‘GET OUT OF MY WAY’. Especially as they have become louder and louder (my Seat Ibiza's horn is an amusing little squeak). The existence of a bell on a bike was intended to be: ‘I’m here’.
