@dec23k @clickhere @Rubelicious @baoigheallain There is a feeling you sometimes get as a pedestrian that some cyclists, usually the ones wearing lycra, have learned a "might is right" mentality from car drivers and see themselves as higher in the food chain than pedestrians. I've lost count of the amount of times I've nearly been mown down by these clowns. So the bell is appreciated, even if unexpected sounds can be startling.

    @piraat @dec23k @Rubelicious @baoigheallain I wear cycling gear for longer journeys and my commute (they're not made of lycra), but I'm just not a prick. And I definitely agree with you: I am willing to bet good money - well, some money - that loads of those pricks transport their overpriced bikes around on the back of their Audis to the place they *then* decide to cycle around. But yeah, I'm all about the bell, and responsible use of it! #Rothar #BikeTooter
