@clickhere @baoigheallain for every ped who’s mad you didn’t ring there are a bunch who’ll flail or even step into your way at the sound. North American culture for shared paths is based on car culture and not what works best for people. Doesn’t help that it’s all cramped. Sigh

@auxonic @baoigheallain Yeah, that sometimes happens - someone automatically lunges sideways towards my path (there much be a PhD in that) - which is another reason I start dinging from far away. Ireland has a seriously long way to go with cycling infrastructure, but I don't envy our North American counterparts in any way whatsoever, yikes.
