@clickhere @baoigheallain I found bells just made people jump, so I call out “excuse me!”, or something of the sort.
I used to cycle to work along the Thames path. Swans and geese are worse than most pedestrians.

@OrangeMenace @clickhere I ran over a pigeon on the Canal path near Alperton. The path is only 60 cm wide in places and I had a choice between water, pigeon, or brambles.

@OrangeMenace @baoigheallain Oh god, steer clear of the boids! 🪿🦢 Yeah, if I'm a bit close to someone, I'll tend to just wait or use my voice to let them know I'm there.
