@mykd I may be missing something again, but the current version of Mastodon DOES include an edit button. It was just added in the most recent release about a month or so back.
They are waiting until enough of the instances out in the world update to the latest release to turn it on, but it's already been baked in.

@mrbitterness OH. MY. GOD. I bet the admins are really grumpy that #musk didn't wait a few more weeks. Imagine having *that* to tempt all the :omgdotlol: users over.
